PACE Africa
The Partnership for Inclusive Care and Education in Africa (PACE Africa) was conceived to respond among other things, to the growing need to support vulnerable youth and children needing special care and support to access education from early age and to equip them with required skills so that they can take advantage of available opportunities. More particularly, PACE AFRICA targets children with potential in schools but who drop out due to socio-economic pressure such as poverty in their families, children born to incarcerated mothers in prison, or correctional facilities, street children and youth among others. The organization also works with Local Government authorities to formulate outreach programs that target youth in fighting crimes, criminal behavior and recidivism. The Organization also works with partners and local authorities in developing start-up projects to help poor families access economic development opportunities. Specifically, PACE AFRICA carries out its activities in seven (8) strategic interventions:
- Access to Education Program
- Access to Justice and Human Rights Program
- Socio-Economic Empowerment Program
- Rehabilitation Program
- Family Ministry Program
- HIV/AIDS&Life Skills Education Program
- Research and Advocacy Program
- Fighting Gender-Based Violence Program
